Milkshake Day 2019
Milkshake Day 2019 is almost here!
As we’re just a few days from our nostalgia-fueled celebration of never-ending-summers, it’s probably a good time to share a few details with you! This is a long read, but one that’s worth it!
Just like the past 2 years, we’ll be releasing 2 beers on Saturday August 24 aka Milkshake Day!
This year’s releases are:
There’s Always Room (5.2% Key Lime Pie Sour)
Cali Creamsicle (6.3% Grapefruit, Orange, & Lemon Milkshake IPA)!
Both releases will be available in the Taproom and Bottle Shop. Bottles are very limited, but we’ll also be making a small amount available in our Online Bottle Shop right HERE!
We’ll also be featuring a one-day-only menu that is straight out of our childhood dreams.
A few things you can expect: Jalapeno Popper Cheddar Smokie, Chicago Popcorn Cheddar Smokie, Buffalo Cauliflower Sausage, Peach & Corn Fritter Breakfast Sausage (collab w. Donut Monster!), Jamaican Patty Mac & Cheese (collab w. Jamaican Patty Shack!), Stacked Pepperoni Sammie (collab w. The Rex Hotel!), and more!
Our pals at Toast will also be here serving up Beer-Wine Slushies! Make sure you try their delicious blend of Sauv Blanc & Your Own Way ft. Apricot in slushy form!
Donut Monster will also be set up on the patio serving a Weekends For Breakfast Milkshake! That’s right… our Weekends For Breakfast London Fog Peach Milkshake IPA in actual milkshake form! They’ll also have donuts and donut ice cream sandwiches for sale!
Lastly, we’re making our way into the parking lot in the back…. We’ll have our Lemonade Stand pouring free Lemonade and fresh squeezed Orange Juice and serving treats from our neighbours Fresh Kravings! Next to the Lemonade Stand will be our Milkshake Day cool-down station… which is just a giant inflatable pink elephant that sprays water out of it’s trunk. Yup! Right next to that you’ll find one of our favourite additions to this year’s Milkshake Day… a make-your-own tie-dye t-shirt station! We partnered up with our pals Witly (who make all of our t-shirt/sweatshirt merch!) to print 2 different designs on tees and you can get creative in making your own tie-dye shirts!
The best part about everything that’s going down in the parking lot… 100% of proceeds will be donated to SAGE, a a peer support group for trans, non-binary, two spirit, and gender nonconforming youth. It’s a space where folks give and gain support, have fun and build community. You can read more about why we feel, more than ever, that SAGE deserves support right HERE.
